Apple is a big business company equipped with R&D and marketing teams releasing their models yearly unlike other OEMs. Their 5G availability plan is just like how they removed the jack or provided the 2nd sim or the use of OLED screen or even the Type C port.
How much an iPhone with 5G capability and type C port will be priced? Will it boost their current market share?

Whereas in iPhone you will have the option to buy a 3 year old phone (iPhone 7 or iPhone 8) with the same price tag which would be outdated in terms of everything.

Most people aren't shooting lengthy 4K videos, they're taking simple photos and recording short videos. You can always use cloud/external storage or transfer your media files to your computer if you start to run out of space. Unless you download a lot of apps or porn then 64GB is still adequate.

Second point there won't be any significant upgrades so there won't be any real pressure to upgrade a 5G phone,
Third Japan 2020 Olympic Games will feature 5G services, the iPhone 12 release is after that.
Fourth 5G handset carry a premium price, whatever price the iPhone 11 is add $150 - $200 for the iPhone 12
Yes buying the iPhone 11 now won't factor, as the owner would have held there phone for 3 or 4 years
Apple are releasing a 4G phone in a 5G world, those who choose to wait will pay more in 2020, in 2020 even Apple 13 ,14, 15 won't have any significant features to upgrade to

I live in the U.S. so I think Apple's prices are fair. They could've jacked up the prices here too but they didn't and that's a good thing. As for the rest of the world you're better off buying an Android smartphone lol. Or if you really want an iPhone because of iOS or whatever then you should get older model instead.

$30-40 would be enough profit (for apple) and cover cost per upgrade band, not the $$$ the charge.
mind you if people keep buying, they will keep doing it

In india the price of base 64 GB iPhone 11 pro is 99'900, ($1410) and the price of iPhone 11 is 64'900($915), in this segment only brainless people will buy iphones in india, apple thinks 1$= ₹100 indian ruppe
