It's better for both companies to go their separate ways. With-that-said, Hooway and HarmonyOS won't be successful outside of China and its neighboring countries, and maybe some small European countries as well.

The smoothness and fluidity is less than iOS and the discontinued WP and BB Touch OS. If Harmony OS is smooth, lighter, and have popular apps, I think it's good for competition.
