Phone wont let you update unless you on wifi
Cant send schedule texts
Cant charge and use headphones at the same time
Repairs are expensive
Accessories are expensive
No fingerprint scanner, i prefer fingerprint over face id

DLLM, 12 Sep 2019If youÂ’re a Hong konger or from any advance place fo... moreAtleast in hongkong the prices are near too the US or international prices, the prices in India and China and many other countries doesn't even make sense I mean 915$ for iPhone XI in India and 1400$ for iPhone XI pro and 1539$ for XI pro max while phones from other companies like samsung are comparatively much cheaper(i mean i honestly think that note 10+ is expensive with little addition to s10+) So internationally yeah note 10+ and iphone XI pro + come at same price with less features in iphone but in these countries buying iphone is just honestly stupid now(unless you have a friend/relative that can buy unlocked iphone and maybe if he is coming back to country you can collect the phone)

ItÂ’s the same people that would rather buy a 2500$ lv bag than a 25$ bag from a no name store. You are clearly not the type of customers apple is going after though.

In Hong kong, The p30 pro HK$5500 (US$705) is cheaper than to iPhone 11 64gb (US$754), the fact it's with 256gb and 8gb ram, oled hdr 1080p screen, basically, apple is trying sell non flagship spec phone at flagship price, with only lcd weird 828p, no hdr and only measly 64gb storage, 3gb ram, no wonder people in asia ain't impressed.
other flagships such as sony xperia HK$5200 (US$666), samsung s10 HK$5100 (US$654), nokia 9 HK$4600 ( US$577), one plus 7 pro HK$5500 ( US$705)

Also airpods are selling much better than any of wireless headphones for android. Airpods with poor sound and very high price....

One thing that asian are looking for are features, not just cameras. Vivo, Oppo and Huawei have a much cheaper price and the camera is on-par or even better then iPhones. Samsung phones are also super expensive, but it gives tons of features inside the phone, especially the Note series, thats why it sells there. In Singapore however, people still uses iPhones because the mobile plans gives them the power to get the most expensive iPhones for just 300$ or lower, depending on the plan.

Because Apple is going back with the trusty and more convenient in-screen finger prints. And oh, wait. My Xiaomi Mi 9T running Android already has the in-screen finger print, which the iPhone still lacks in 2019.

Philippines here, and only the rich, the social climbers, or those deep in the Apple ecosystem opt to go iPhone now. And people I know who are using iPhones now aren't impressed by the iPhone 11. Heck few of them even switched to the iPhone X line. They're still using iPhone 8 and at least one of them switched to the S10 earlier this year. In the high end market people would rather go to Samsung, Huawei, or even OnePlus. But more people are flocking to Oppo and Vivo here.

We have Xiaomi and Huawei. We can get phones which are value for money instead at a cut throat price like the iPhones. Furthermore, Android are so much more interesting and versatile than iOS. Apple is still trying hard to catch up with times.

Here in asia, we have a lot of options to choose from and way cheaper than an iphone. Way superior specs for the price you are paying.
If you want a triple camera beast, you can have a Mi9, or K20 Pro, or P30 for half the price of an Iphone 11. Not to mention, the features you get from porting Gcam into it.
If you want water resistance, you have Samsung, oneplus, and huawei flagships from half the price of the Iphone 11. Those flagships also take good videos too.
Apple's marketing hype is limited only in the US where customers are blind or unaware of other beast phones. All they know there is Google, Apple and Samsung. That's Apple focus in marketing their features that are already years old in the Android ecosystem. They can fool their home country's customers, but not the rest of the world that is far more educated in choosing products.
Heck, they can't even introduce a 40W charging. I mean, it cant even charge itself full for less than an hour. And they are proud with their new HDR video quality when in fact, it has been 2 years since it was introduced in Android. And dont even start me on the Night Mode, it is nothing near huawei or google... it would even be generous to say if their nightmode is at par with those of Xiaomi and Oneplus.
These are the reasons why they fail to impress the Asian markets... because customers are far more educated in choosing good products here than there in the US (who even blocks chinese phones for they security accusations).
