Xiaomi promises Android 10 for the Mi 9T as early as next month

I hope they will add long exposure to rest lenses (superwide and tele x2). Moreover, when I start record in soundrecorder and put app in bagground I see useless and irritating bright blue notofication "tap to back to recorder". It is impossible to turn it of in settings and permissions.

Thanks for the comment guys, now I know that the top camera is not really the 48mp :( dont't know why xiaomi specifically colored in circle yellow and pointed out 48mp name next to it if that is not the real 48mp on the back LOL is confusing for me as a newbie on this phone.

While shooting portraits, the telephoto kicks in by default but there is an option to take portraits from the main camera as well, you just have to click the icon on top left in the portrait mode called full body mode.
While zooming 2x, the telephoto camera only kicks in if there is enough ambient light. If there is not enough light, the main camera takes the 2x shot by digitally zooming in.

There you'll know if the top sensor is used or not in 48MP mode. Your test is simply incomplete because software can always be coded to have a fall-back condition when the main sensor is covered.

It's a heavy skin.
Android 10 wouldn't make much of a difference to it..
So we will need is MIUI 11 Update ASAP

Anyone know why the 48mp camera works only on PORTRAIT MODE? I tried to cover the top camera on the back ( 48mp ) with my finger and press the 48mp button to see if it will cost very ( because my finger is there ) but the camera still using the 13mp ( middle ) but when I press PORTRAIT MODE then the 48mp cam is the one that use on the back. Please verify it to all xiaomi mi 9T user. In my case that is what is happening

There is no Beta version of MIUI with Android 10 for the Mi 9T, only for the Mi 9T Pro and Mi 9, at least for now.
