Some Android 10 phones are getting Dark mode for the Google Play Store

It looks like it's still in a testing period, similar to how some got Dark mode in Gmail earlier than most.

I remember using the included dark themes all the time on my OnePlus One, from KitKat to Lollipop to Marshmallow. Nearly a decade later I'm too used to dark backgrounds; even my first Android smartphone, the ATRIX 2, was mostly dark thanks to Ice Cream Sandwich. My OnePlus 6T always had an option to darken everything and I'm happy that it'll receive Android 10's native dark mode after OnePlus releases the new update. I'm quite anxious to see what the next version of OxygenOS will look like. Anyway, I'm glad to see people are finally embracing dark mode and themes now rather than later.

        Could use dark theme Playstore back in 2014 with Oneplus One and stock Cyanogen themes.

                    Fortunately for most people there exists the Substratum theming option, which not only allow us to theme most apps with dark modes but also allows true black theming, not these awful (for me) dark grey modes.

                      Android is getting better and better. I will stay with android forever. No iOS for me.

                        And how many android users are using the android 10? It's so unfair that this update only applies to android 10. While according to the adoption rate. The number of pie users are only 10%! I'm curious as to why google did this?

                          Of course, Google will keep most awaited feature of 'Dark Mode' exclusive to Android 10 only. Many of the OEM's (except few) don't bother to provide OS updates to their low end and mid range phones. In order to boost diminishing mobile phones sales, users will be forced to buy new phones with Android 10 for such new features.
