I am still more excited for Xperia 1 as i think 4K screen does make a big difference but other than that, its nice to see Sony keeping the line.

Both have beautiful display and s10e cameras are praised in all reivews. The s10e came up in this discussion since its the most compact phone we can get in 2019 models next to it is the xiaomi mi9 se. S10e could have a better battery and the finger pirnt reader/power button should be in the middle side of the phone just like xperias but samsung did'nt do it as they may be labelled again as copy cat or out of respect to sony. How bout sony makes a more smaller device like 5.5 to 5.7" 21:9 since they are sticking to it. As some say xperia 5 is DOA as 21:9 is not for everyone. adding insult to injury is sony's pricing at launch. I'm still using my z5 compact and need to upgrade. Can't blame compact users if we'll look elsewhere. S10e is knocking but i may hold on for a bit longer

        Too big - not at all compact. Up to 5" screen would be fine...
        Needs dual SIM, too.
        Other than that, looks good.

          to me is simple...phone is to tall...easy choice....next.

                          - Screen that can display 10-bit images, 0.8 delta rgb/1.2 delta gray for creator mode, reaches BT2020, upscale SDR to HDR (feature copied by HMD last year), no hole nor screen and covered by GG6.
                          - ufs3.0 + usb 3.1 (most dont have it).
                          - cinema pro has new stuff
                          - less than 16cm (I wish it had 15) ...

                          Only things I'd change is battery that I'd put 3420mAh and replace UWA for monochrome. It is a fact the UWA is the least used camera on the phones that have wide + uwa + zoom.

                            This phone is not compact at all. It does not fit in your pocket, it is too long. Nobody cares about the width is it is too tall ... Marketing BS

Serious I have a small size and small hand and I reach without problem the top of the screen of xperia 10 which must be similar to xperia 5, for comparison I have more trouble to reach the top of my xz premium and S9 +. The width really changes the grip and really makes it easier to move vertically and diagonally. While it is not compact like the old but widely used to one but as the s10e
