Does it mean that Oneplus is downgrading the 7T Pro from 12 Gb to 8Gb?

Akira Kurusu, 14 Sep 2019Seriously? Only FHD+ for the 7T? Might as well just go for ... moreYou are answering your own doubt

Pro series are premium segment in Op and non pro variant is not, they are bound to get FHD+ instead of qHD, that's common sense, or else what will be the difference between the two?

Pay more get more or settle for the rest what's offered.

People won't complaint for Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ but here are blabbering nonsense for nothing

Premium features are set for the premium phones, pay more or dream about it.

Anonymous, 14 Sep 2019The small bump in battery capacity, higher refresh rate, an... moreThe popup camera is quite an advantage compared to a notch: You have a larger screen and a very high-quality selfie camera which cannot film you when in back position. If you use things like face unlock, sure that would not be comfortable with a motorized solution when you do many photos because of the delay. Still, OnePlus does not offer a 3.5" audio jack, neither it has a microSD slot or a replacable battery. I am not too motivated to buy a product which does not improve in every area.

The small bump in battery capacity, higher refresh rate, and circular camera design are the main reasons why I'm skipping the 7T. And the 7T Pro is an automatic no for me because of the pop-up camera.

Shadocx, 14 Sep 2019I don't know what you're talking about, the Galaxy S10e was... moreI really don't get comparing launch prices when there's a couple of months difference between launches. The only relevant comparison is actual market prices at any point in time. A buyer won't buy at historic price. Consider that Samsung is much more prone to price cuts than Oneplus over the lifetime of a product.

The 7T pro update doesn't really make sense to me. If I was thinking of buying a oneplus phone now. I would go buy the 7pro now or wait for the 7T (not the pro)

I'm talking about launch prices obviously.
Which phones offer more than OnePlus 7 series for less?

The 7 pro is about $700. Hoping the 7T Pro will be $850 and IP 68. Then it'll be my first One Plus ever.

I don't care about the comments in here all I know it's that I'll take the 7T apartfrom the fact that it's what I see as a 'better (specwise) & faster version of the Pixel', I really need a phone that runs Android 10 straight from the box sure to project mainline. As for the battery, we'll just have to cope with it... Check out MRWHOSETHEBOSS YouTube video to get why flagships have poor battery capacities.

FHD+ might be enough. But when spending that much money, I'm willing to pay a little more for the QHD+. The difference IS noticable.

The OPO 7T would almost perfect by adding:
                                        QHD+
                                        Wireless Charging
                                        IP65 and IP68 (like Sony)
