If Med... moreFirst of all, even though xiaomi redmi have released source code for redmi note 8 pro, it doesn't have essential parts like for example code for lcd touchscreen and more. In this stage no one will be able to build a custom rom with half source code. You can check back the history for xiaomi redmi phones with mediatek processors and their customrom development. They have released "source code" for earlier mediatek powered phones as well

      All mediatek has GPS issues.

If Mediatek would release kernel sources even within one year of launching their processor, I would buy a phone with mediatek processor if it's better in real life scenarios than similar snapdragon processor, doesn't matter what nm the manufacturing process might be. But not having kernel sources means the phone is garbage as soon as the manufacturer stops releasing software updates.

            Vulkan API will help dramatically improve performance and reduce latency and will also enable ability to run highest battery graphics fidelity

            They patched unofficial Vulkan implementation but still run Open GL........ Ffs

                But this 11nm 665 is no issue because of that Snapdragon branding

                Then people scream heating issues even though the 730g can't play pubg on ultra hdr in pubg without any tools...
