AverageUser, 17 Sep 2019Looks like Galaxy A50 with tad bit bigger bezels and Nokia ... more...they MAY look similar, BUT...see it both live side by side, and you would see the obvious higher quality craftsmanship of NOKIA & classy looks, which can not be said of that samsung phone you compared...

Different materials doesn't have the same quality.
That's why Nokia and other companies have their R&D Team for that matter.
Just like when iPhone introduced 5s and 5c.

Chinese phones dont weight that much but have good build quality too. Failing bend test on jerryrigthings is useless and dont really show any quality. And i dont really understand this build quality thing. All the phones are pretty much same build quality. Just different materials used for frames and what hold the motherboard and all the components together.

whats the differenc... moreYeah bro.. a 5.5" phone with no notch s#*t, SD675 processor would have been great upgrade to nokia 6.1 at a price tag of 200$.
Sony is the only company that has not fell in love with notch. But they are not good in business.. only xperia 1 & 5 are good. Shame that everyone else is running behind notch & Bigger display, multiple cameras.

Mike, 16 Sep 2019I agree, it doesn't seem like much of an upgrade from the 7... moreAgreed... I really liked when hmd came up with with 6.1 in 2018. It was a very good successor considering first nokia 6.
They increased thickness but reduced bezels made it handy, from sd430 to sd630, a fantastic daylight camera performance with Zeiss optics (no Zeiss on original Nokia 6), video recording went up to 4k, dual 4g stand by sim slots, USB type-c (which was trending), a great display in comparison to all other phones in same price range, louder speaker but had missed Dolby Atmos, a bigger FPS.
I had high hopes that nokia won't fall for the notch tend & thought it would keep them separate from crowd. They released 6.1+ which had nothing better than 6.1 except the processor. Thought they would keep notch exclusive for plus version. They came up with 7.1 & 8.1.. I lost interest in nokia.
Thought that 6.2 will have no notch & notch with plus version. Disappointed with hmd. I feel they have lost their identity when launched 6.1+. Now with 7.2 they've lost their brand status.

Unfortunately this is one of the few midrange options for Americans. Need band 12 and 17...

One thing I had disliked about Motorola's phones was the camera housing which I used to term "somebody's watching you" and I had really love Nokia's iteration and placement of theirs such as seen on the Nokia 7.1. But lo & behold the tables have turned, Nokia have joined Lenovo's bandwagon with this big round camera housing thing, what a travesty! stupes!!

For T-Mobile US customers:
This cellphone does not have 4G LTE band 71 (important for T-Mobile US). Don't buy.

Ray, 16 Sep 2019It's maybe $75 overpriced. I think you're overlooking a lot... moreI am not even from US so i just see the price and that would be pretty close as same for the EU. For Eu market this is crazy over priced and i dont even look the cameras as i dont really care about them. It just lacking everything for 350 price tag that would be around 330 Euro maybe minimum.
