Shadocx, 18 Sep 2019Are you sure the back glass of the Mi9 Pro will be compatib... morethickness maybe only will affect the frame thickness and not the glass, because 5G modem is on the motherboard, and wireless charging stuff is under the glass, so, 99% sure the back cover of the new Mi9 5G will work for the regular Mi9.
I bet they will but a fat frame around the phone cause is one thing i didnt like so much, is unconfortable to hold for too long cause is so thin, so, they maybe just add 2/3mm to it and keep the back glass unchanged.
i dont know about Mi A3, Mi A3 is a Mi9 with bigger battery and the design is the same only thing i see different is the thickness of both being different.

I mean, it has a bigger battery, more wireless stuff and the 5G modem, maybe it has different dimensions and thickness.

Looks good. It has high refresh screen right if I'm not mistaken. Added 5G and large battery then it's perfect.

well done Xiaomi, late but well done...keep the same screen and push up battery to 4000mah is a good move, and now the phone with the same AMOLED screen will give 2 hours more of SoT i hope.
Hope spares will be avaiable soon cause my Mi9 standard will be turned from black to white as soon as back panels will be avaiable. :)
