Its only natural that the 11 Pro with be more popular....
Its slightly smaller and has better cameras!
Apple is going to discontinue the 11 and the 11 Pro Max before 2020 is over!

I think it’s due to the display, camera and battery. Improvements over the XS. I mean what did iphone 11 gain over XR? Better cam and slightly faster internals. That’s it. Even the XR camera is awesome for casual pics. And A12 is far from weak. Whreas the pro series has lot of ground. Iphone 11 prospective buyers are leaning Towards The now cheaper iphone xr

Because 3 cameras at the back showed that you have iphone11, if 2, not so obvious. I don't care how ugly the cameras are, i need people to see how expensive my phone is, and its awesome!

Fans are buying now, and buying the best they can.
People upgrading their phones, because their devices stopped working or are not good enough anymore, they will buy a more affordable option.

Seeing the reviews so far, the phone only looks like a minor update. In reality, it's actually pretty good with improvements in battery life, performance for long term, and miles gained in the camera department. Sure, it'll only be King until the Mate 30 series and Pixel 4 series come out, but damn did they make some ground
