I could never stomach DXO reviews. When they "like" a phone, everything comes in its favor.
I remember them complaining about noise in certain phones while photos on GSMA reviews barely had any in seemingly similar conditions. Sometimes watercolor effect is bad, and sometimes it's "good noise suppression"! Makes you really wonder :/

Of course the Samsung Note 10 or S10 will always be ahead of the camera business. Because they produce themselves. Why is the word production important? Because by producing it, Samsung has shown 3 important things. First, Samsung has money. Second, Samsung provides employment for thousands or tens of thousands of people. Third, whatever the performance results of the products they produce, we can be sure that thousands or hundreds of thousands of people who live from the Samsung Factory will not be disappointed

Physically thr s10s and note 10es have better cameras at night just they software needed to be cleaned up

so do you wanna compare your useful (deep fusion aka HDR+) with HDR10+ or at least HDR10 there is a huge diff ,
samsung and LG are ways ahead from Iphone
LG is the first one to add ultrawide angle years now , Night Mode was huawei best thing , HDR10+ was also samsung first.. also depth video
and all of them are useful and you said apple standardized them pathetic ..
you Mentioned Hand ID , but didn't mentioned the variaty of option LG gaves with ToF there's three ways to unlock the phone with a smaller notch compare to apple and with face ID too , it took LG 1 year to improve they notch when they introduce the sound On display

I checked the updated note10 and pixel3 and p30 pro reviews: in the extreme low light street, for the note10 they are using night mode, for the p30 also, and there as comparison for the pixel 3 as well, but in the pixel 3 review, they don't :D

But anyway, Sony Xperia phones has great cameras, especially the recent devices of 2018-2019, just go to youtube and look for the "honest reviewers" not the paid once. don't be fooled by these paid youtubers or fake camera reviewers like DXO who grows on bribery!

Apple is the one to call the shots on which is useful and which is useless. They're the one who sets a standardized trend and let Android explode themselves with zany ideas, and Apple will handpick which is useful for us in the long run.
Ultrawide, and Night Mode and HDR+ (Deep Fusion) = useful
Hand ID from LG, heart rate scanner from Samsung = useless
