I'd consider it flagship with compromise, which is a terrible direction for smartphone if everyone starts stocking on the most cheapest terrible components just to fit in that flagship snapdragon cpu

Really hard to say now if global. Would be also pricier... I'd wait if some rumor appears when sales start. Other than this it seems if possible, it's better to be a simple man.
Not for everybody but enough people who demand such specs. (I wouldn't use it so IDK purpose)

Those cameras aren't premium. The construction isn't premium. But the rest yes. Good phone for those that don't need great cameras and/or IP rating.

Excellent specs for the price. My only concern is the cooling solution that would be on offer since SD855+ is an overclocked chip.

The top spec 12gb ram +512 gb storage will also sell for 3000 rmb for a limited time i suppose, that's same as the 8gb ram version. That's a hell of a deal, might not be the perfect phone but it's just insane what you get for 420 bucks
