Wanting runners to buy a watch that does not support Strava is like asking people who do not drink water to buy water bottles.

Is a smartwatch not a true sports watch.

I'm using Watch GT for a half a year now. Pros: it looks fantastic, reasonable pricing, not to heavy, amazing battery life (22h of GPS matches most expensive Sunto and Garmin watches, 4 week battery life when using just as a watch), great for running, nice huawei app where you can modify everything. Cons: not good for riding a bike (no support for Strava, GPS not accurate when riding tight corners).

Anonymous, 19 Sep 2019Finally good range for bluetooth and battery life. Samsung ... moreIt's normal to have better battery life. It's OS is very simple and limited. And I'm writing this with a GT Sport on my wrist. I bought it exactly because of the battery life...but as a smart watch, the Galaxy Watch, which I also own, is miles ahead.

Anonymous, 19 Sep 2019Why not Harmony OS?? Lite OS works fine for now and i'm certain Harmony OS isn't as ready as they say it is. The main hurdles are 3rd party support as well as performance and battery life. The Huawei Watch GT had a battery life of upto 2 weeks, you can't just backtrack on that with the GT2. It's better to play it safe than to risk a potential buyers audience on a new operating system. Releasing a Harmony OS variant would be the better option
