19 September 2019
The hour and a half long presentation is hard to condense to a couple of minutes, but these videos do a good job of listing the highlights.

CrunchLife, 20 Sep 2019No Google no buy. No need to rethink. I will jump to iPhone... moreLol you can still install Google Apps manually. They won't be shipped out of the box.

The Voice of Reason, 19 Sep 2019Rethink the absence of Google Play Services and Play Store ... moreBut there are thousand of useful app which you can sideloads and thousand more which you don't actually need from Google rite?

Mmmm.. do I want to gamble and spend $1000 dollars on a Chinese CCP made cell phone without Google apps? What do you think?

Can Someone ban this guy who is complaining about the fact there is no Mate 30X. He keeps posting and posting the same BS over the comment section, STOP! Go over it.

The last Oracle, 19 Sep 2019Hopefully a world less depends on google will be interestin... moreSame here and im on, but still waiting for a phone with Harmony OS. When it will be released, i buy it just for trying it and support Huawei vs Trumpistan/Google/Android scam.

Anonymous, 19 Sep 2019Did Huawei just discontinued the successor of mate 20X??? W... moreHonor Note will come next year. Every second year they release a Honor Note.
I had the Note 10 my self and in 10 month now and still, i have the mate 20 x... Very sad indeed, no mate 30 x.

Hopefully a world less depends on google will be interesting, and less security breaches and less issued with individual liberties and privacy. I hope LG, HTC and others use the Huawei OS and Ecosystem. If atleast 3 major Chinese companies (Huawei, Oppo, Vivo?) use this OS, and work on creating a huge ecosystem concentrating on photography, videography and music production to begin with, Google will start losing market share.

Rethink the absence of Google Play Services and Play Store which breaks hundreds of thousands of apps which you can't even sideload because they depend on these services.

Gotta say, compared to the rumours, this is quite disappointing. I was hoping this would have a screen to compete with the OnePlus 7 Pro, but there's no 90Hz and doesn't even manage QHD. I think I'd rather sacrifice some camera quality (or not, in the case if the Pixel 4) and have 90Hz.

I did. Sadly I rethought to not buy it after watch the lack of audio jack and FM radio in the vanilla Mate 30. Maybe something will be released next year with what I'm looking for in Europe.

What to rethink ? The notch ? That you copy from apple long time ago before they copy your square camera design ? Why you don't say apple chipset is nothing close to iPhone ?

Whackcar, 19 Sep 2019That is truly amazing. Not just the speed, but the quality ... moreAgreed. The camera is possibly the best ever seen hardware wise on any smartphone
