People wont complain when their buying the latest tech not brand.

Please don't hate me, but when I finally tried my very first iPhone a few years back, (twas the iphone x), i really like the premium feel of the device, its just that the iOS system didnt suit me well. so i quickly(in a matter of days) turned back to samsung. to be fair, i was solid samsung user ever since, last year a jump the huawei bandwagon, but still i love samsung. in all honesty, i cant see myself using an iphone even if i can very much afford to have one.

Everyone here clinging on to Apple's former greatness all argue relative ancient causes like brand recognition and resale value. None of those matters in tech. Had they, we would will be using Nokia's, BlackBerry's and Motorola's today.
Tech needs to wow people and the iPhone haven't done that for years, which is why they're polling exceptionally poor today. Paying over a thousand bucks for a two years old Samsung, in the emperor's new clothing, isn't worth it.

will75, 22 Sep 2019Really. Not a good reception. I wonder why they are sellin... moreBecause there are a lot of ignorant people that buy whatever they consider socially acceptable. I live in a relatively poor country and I know one family that took a loan from the bank for their kid's iphone, so that the kid can be on par with his richer friends.

It will still sell like hotcakes.
If only android companies stop being so stubborn about unlocking bootloaders, and turn phones into a mini android pc that can be upgraded or have differnt OSes same way it was in the beginning (unofficialy, I know).
It will be complex, it will have drawbacks, but it would make many people happy

Walter C. Dornez, 22 Sep 2019"Doesn't get the best reception"
Doesn't bode well for t... moreThe thing about iPhones is that the general public likes them for their oversimplicity & brand value. On the other hand, power users and tech enthusiasts dislike them & prefer Androids instead for their superior specs & features.
That is the reason why on most tech-related sites such as GSMArena, you'll always find few positive opinions regarding iPhones.

Because, which camera technique they are using that camera technique already been used by Google Pixel 2, 3 and Huawei P20,30 Pro...a.k.a multi frame image stacking which Apple called now images fusion. There is nothing new.

Well, at least the phone's performance in the poll (26%) is better than Apple's market share (

"Doesn't get the best reception"
Doesn't bode well for the new iPhone"
Seeing as how most are biased here, not to mention how we are but a small minority here, those statements don't have much ground to them.

Im glad GSMarena agreed with 4/64 for a flagship grade is basically trash in 2019 especially with that $1k price tag, no matter how good the IOS is.

Once again, iPhone XR is the reason the sale would go down, because it does 90% of latest iPhone would give, also now in cheaper price than last year. iPhone 11 will takeover after XR has been discontinued.

This poll changes nothing. People will continue to buy iPhones until Apple goes bankrupt, which isn't happening anytime soon.
To normal people, minutiae doesn't matter. But brand/marketing/numbers do. They see geekbench and antutu results (if they do at all) and are blown away. Sell an arm and a leg, and rush one-legged to the nearest Apple store and claim they could still operate their precious "best/class leading phone" with only that remaining arm.

someguy619, 22 Sep 2019GSMArena's fanbase is mostly Android. No surprise here. Most of iPhone user don't care about tech stuff ( specs, news, true innovation) so îs a general problem not only for gsmarena community.
