OnePlus 7, 7 Pro start receiving Android 10-based OxygenOS 10 update

            OnePlus is the best when it comes to official Android software updates, second to Google's own overly expensive Pixel smartphones.

              I had android 10 beta and all black system theme was fine (instagram, youtube background was black). Now I installed official android 10 OTA and still all apps backgrounds are white. Why?

                I should 1st reverse to offical 9 and only than I can roll the offcial android 10 right?
                go from beta2 10 to official 10 via just ota?

                      I have received the update on my OnePlus 7. The performance has become even smoother. But I think the UI needs a more polish, especially the dark mode. There are many places where it looks like a beta version. However, there are no bugs or crashes in the 12hrs I have used it.

                        Have to disagree on RR though, it started out slick and clean, but now its become sort of a bloated mess.

To the best of my knowledge it has updated the most number of phones android 9. I mean to say that total number of phones which received Android 9 update from Samsung is more than that for Android 8 or 7 or so on. While its not great, it's definitely better than before. Btw, I have Samsung A50 and it could be my last Samsung device. The network reception is awful in this handset.

                            I haven't gotten the update yet.
                            But when I do, I will skip it. Since its a platform update, its safe to assume the next month's update will have some important bugfixes. That, and the fact I'm currently using OxygenOS rooted, and I don't want to lose the root or have the update wipe my data.

                            What I'm anxiously waiting for is the Official ResurrectionRemix Custom ROM to become stable, and running on Android10. That's what I want to ditch OxygenOS for.

                                  No matter what circus you do, you cant reach to range of SAM or AP hehe.... Update in only one region and spread message like Apple ? Nice Joke. Stop using this unworthy tricks.

                                      And for that matter, OnePlus has updated 7, 7 Pro and will now update 6, 6T and then will update 5, 5T and will release 7T, 7T Pro with Android 10.

                                      So yeah, they are doing much much better job than Samsung
