It looks like a Huawei Mate X that cannot get unfolded. But this being a render, I definitely wouldn't buy in.

I'd say first picture is what'll Alpha be. Others I wouldn't care about, same for 2 devices to came. Just maybe.
Agree with comment below second (or same continue further) rear screen is idea to think for solving selfies or having additional space.
Case? This kind of phone best shouldn't have any. Make it as solid as possible, conservative should buy else.
With SW helping it (e.g. black frame when needed) I imagine this might work. Even if not for everybody and yet to see the future. It's okay to try.

Good luck trying to disassemble or replace something inside it. I'd be surprised if it's easy as other phones to do so.

Honestly this is the best direction for the long term... For the next five years. I've tempered my whole enthusiasm for foldable phones.

The first picture look a lot like the front of a xperia phone ( xperia XZ) if the XZ were a full screen phone.
And the third picture also look a lot like a xperia phone as well.
Kind of having a similar look like my xperia XZ.

Here you'll need to utilize some palm rejection software, not to mention rigid metal frame is being replaced by glass and screen. And how can you even put a case on it now? This means no protection, fragile design with glass all around the phone and probably an astronomical bill if it breaks.
If I wanted to use back cameras for selfies, I think a second screen, with a more conservative design, would be a more practical option.

It all started with steep-curved note 4 edge in 2014. Back then anti Samsung fanbois call it gimmicky, no innovation. Now all of sudden, fanbois call it innovation and love it lol. I'm no fanboi but still amazed how advanced Samsung was in 2014.
