you can buy 8/128 tencent version for around 500 usd (if im not mistaken) and ship it to Slovakia
it will be cheaper than ROG1 according to what u said!
or you can buy 12/512 for around 1000 usd (if im not wrong) and again ship it to Slovakia
it isn't the companies that are thieves. it's us fools, like me and definitely you, who close our eyes to reality and start punching through the air and blaming every one in our reach!
think twice before opening your mouth. maybe reason is sitting just around the corner.

Asus is basically targeting gamers and non-gamers alike. The base variant is with 128 GB, which is sufficient for a normal use. The 512 GB variant is priced much higher and targets gamers, who are willing to pay that much for a high speed storage gaming phone. Regarding the accessories, again they are targeted towards gaming enthusiasts and not the normal users. So the base variant is for normal users and gamers, but everything else is for gaming enthusiasts for whom price is not a big deal. Also Zenfone 6 or the 6Z models (other than the base model) are out of stock to make way for ROG Phone II. So if you like the flipcam, sure buy the 6Z, but ROG Phone II makes more sense even if you're not a gamer. That said, I guess 6Z is going to be discontinued soon or upgraded to better configuration.

ROG Phone 1 is s... moreAgreed, ROG Phone 1 was slow, but ROG phone 2 comes with Zen UI and the gaming features are installed over it as an application. As we are well aware, OS and app are two independent functions. So, and I can only hope, ROG Phone 2 will receive speedy Android updates. Their Zenfones certainly receive fast-enough updates.
And for gamers plus people who really aren't worried about having the latest OS before everyone else, Asus is still the better choice. Sometimes there are bugs which escape and are present on the public final version of the OS, and that is never good. So if the current version being shipped is stable and 99% bug-free, most of the people would prefer that and promise of 2 OS version updates, even if they are a little slow.
Case in point: Samsung is pretty SLOW in updates compared to even Zenfones, and they are the No.1. Clearly, the speed of updates doesn't matter much to the end-user, as long as the update is stable.
NOTE: Not an OP hater. They have done a fantastic job with Oxygen OS.

The pricing for phone alone is a great reason to go for it. Rog Phone II even at 50K was unbeatable on it's own merits.
The accessories prices, especially the twin view dock at 20k something and Kunai gamepad at 10k is a disappointment, and dare I say, an outright misstep. If you launch a phone at 38K, you don't sell an accessory for it at > 25% of the phone price itself. That too, just a controller.
About the update situation, yes, I think it'll be a bit wonky. And not just because of bloatwares presence (or not). People gotta remember that Asus has all sorts of proprietary stuff going on here. They've been pretty open with ZenPhone 6 and all, with developers. But Zenphone 6 was just a normal phone. It's not like rotating cameras weren't here since Oppo N1. But that openness didn't happen with Rog 1. Because not just proprietary software they also have proprietary HW bits in it. Like that extra port, air triggers, 240hz touch refresh, and 120 Hz AMOLED screen, 1ms response time... And all sorts of stuff to support all sorts of accessories.
With all that, I'll be surprised to see Asus jumping on andro 10 bandwagon anytime soon. And even more if they open source it.
Still, if I had to buy a phone right now, it'll be this one. No second thoughts.

R series, it's plausible bu... moreI know oneplus rarely had find series designs, but look at op7 pro and find x, you will find lot of similarities except for wacky camera configs. Slim chin, curved glass and even speaker holes are similar TBH.
P.S OnePlus one was based on find 7 which would only be possible if they were made in same factory since find was crazy expensive for its time and was sort of limited time thing

According to Chinese pu... moreI'll only respond the end part. R series, it's plausible but OnePlus has not once has a flagship based on the Find series. Most but not all Find series phones has some wacky selfie configurations. OnePlus never used all of the Find designs and the same goes for Reno.
One thing for sure is that all BBK flagship designs are distinct with one another. Vivo has the NEX series which their designs always change, Oppo now has the Reno series which well known for that knob in the middle and the shark fin selfie which is rumored to be absent from the Reno Ace flagship and unfortunately, OnePlus looks like it has that standard flagship look to it.

It also adds more weight to the fact that most oneplus phones are just r series or find series phones with flagship chipsets and sometimes reshaped camera modules
