My question is how much space would a 108 MP photo need??? They better add at least 128 GB internal storage+ a micro SD card slot! :D

Sambiguous, 23 Sep 2019Am I the only one who sees this as a file size nightmare? Same here. Also, not many monitors or displays big enough to show the full pic. Also an older computer would struggle to open it.
Cool if you want to crop a part, though.

As it's a very large sensor, it has the same pixel size as the Mi 9's IMX586 48MP, which takes awesome 48MP photos. Those are already 25-35mb, but you can zoom in a lot. Also, you don't have to take them at max resolution, it will take 4x4 pixels and combine them into one, so you have a more light efficient 27MP photo.

Although 99.9999999% of people take pics to post them on social lamedia, where they get compressed a lot, so having such a high res camera is useless anyway.
My 24MP DSLR takes pics that weight about 10MB in average each (as low as 8MB, but going as high as 20MB). This means that each picture could take 45MB. Could be much more too.
