and roughly translated to English

Samsung F490

Korean themselves know the answer to whom. Large touch display (3.2 "240 × 432) and three touch keys on the front panel. Just thin, attractive telefonchik. Implemented technology feedback to the touch to the display felt mild vibration. Experience shows Elementary Viewty with such small stuff better immediately disconnect, zero benefit, blindly still not ponabiraesh, and the battery just so happy. Staff 3G-cycle, there is HSPDA. At the same time, there is a 5 - megapixel camera, and thus stronu Viewty also made remarks.

It is difficult to say whether this model will go on the market first, but consider that it is the first time it has a new interface Croix (French Cross). A very interesting piece, implemented virtually all submenus, in the player, etc. Cursor, as would all the time perekrestii is in sight, highlighted horizontal and vertical rows. Overall explain difficult words, a video can be viewed more as commercial model will already be толком understand that what and how is it an advantage. Poor fact that at this stage in the phone is not possible to turn the display in a horizontal orientation, and likely will not be.

Overall, while I can say that cool image model Viewty adequate competitor, better interface, as a camera will withdraw it is not yet clear, but this is not the essence of it is important, few would buy it as a photographic solution, the more that Samsung is preparing a it is murderous photographic device. Pravda has stubbornly conceal any details.

Hey Ferike, what part of Samsung officially presented did you not understand ? Or you just simply don't comprehend the English language? Why would it be Photoshop and what is wrong with the phone in the middle? Even the light on the screen matches the phone's angle. Get a life....

          RE CPW1,
i know triband works in US but service indoors sucks compared to quadband. i know because i actually tried and in fact still have my old triband motorola razr v3x. now i use the quadband razr2 v9 which provides great service indoors and out. just for the record, in some buildings, i still get service with triband but the bigger the building and the deeper inside you go, the less likely you will get service. in some places, i lose service all together, but not with my new razr 2.

all i have to say to samsung and lg is that they must be doing so well overseas that they dont need the US market. hence all these new and cool cellphones are tribands only and not quadbands. these include the lg viewty, samsung armani phone, samsung d880 duos, and samsung g800. im just glad i gave on these 2 companies. motorola doesnt make too many good phones in terms of features but the quality of the phone aspect itself is pretty good. and most of theirs are quadband. im glad i stuck with motorola.

The F490 sounds too good to be true, I hope its got WAP and a decent flash.
I also hope it's released in Jan 08 as i was gonna buy a G800 untill this surfaced, I'm gonna wait till all the specifications come out on this one.

,but what about the battary live...? I think they have to produce a high powerful battaries specially for touch versions .. not to charge it every day ...

People are going on about the touch-screen mobiles but nowdays they don"t seem to care about taking care of there mobiles much an marks an fingers prints will damage the phones apperance,Samsungs screens are not cheap to replace as break easily so alot of care will have to be made using these type of mobiles,as you scratch the iphone screen an then unable to send text messages,so until some kind of assurance will be made buying the touch screen mobiles reguarding the screens safety i will be kept away from these mobiles

Seems to me the Koreans ain't Christians otherwise they would have offered us better presents today. Happy Christmas everybody and here's to hoping for better goodies in 2008. Wake up SE, I'm still waiting for that T650 with WiFi. I'm sure you're working on it.

Also, be aware Opera has no plans to develop a mini version compatible with the Samsung touch os. The built in browser is terrible. No automatic refreshing of bookmarks. Very difficult to select boxes etc on pages. They have a lot of bugs to sort out. I was looking for something new as well and was terribly disappointed.

The 3mp camera in mine was probably the worst Samsung camera I've ever experienced. My u700 camera blew it away in every aspect from start up speed, auto focus speed and overall quality.

Again, I urge everyone to test them out before buying. If you're someone who like fast and easy access to applications and messaging this is not the phone.

The haptic touch technology Samsung is using has serious issues. I've gone through two F700's and given up. It's not a "real world" ready technology yet for them. Too many repeated presses and misreads. Simple navigation was a pain. My advice to anyone considering any of the touch models is to test them HANDS ON first before committing your money.
