They are providing 5v 2A charger which is not a bad charger and they are also providing 18 Watt charger support. Now if they would've included the fast charger then the phone will cost more which the thing they don't want because of competition.
As you said they should've increased the price and should include the fast charger then you can buy a fast charger for yourself.
Redmi sells Mi India Standard Charger (Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0) for ₹ 449. It is an 18 Watt charger and very cheap price.

This should've been the Redmi 7A, just look at the specs, looks like a refreshed 7A. Good thing they put this out now, as the realme c2 appeared to be a better buy than the 7A. Not with the 8A it has a better chance.

But they wouldn't do that due to competition. They just want to showcase that they are giving good specs for low price that others. Also, they will hide this fact that no fast charger in the box. I bet many people wouldn't be aware of this while ordering the mobile. They will come to know once they unbox it.
Btw, Mi A3 is mid ranger for $200+, why they didn't give fast charger with that. Dummy, got my point?
