And for a Xiaomi alpha i know the testing models are made of plastic glass but as i read the units ready for public will have shapphire glass which scratches at mohs scale 9 which makes the one of m ost durrable and innovative phone of today.
So paying 2500 for a shapphire glass from fr future like device is not that bad considering its siblings in price have only plastic glass and the closest companion in cell phones which are Mate 30 pro Porsche edition Samsung Galaxy note 10 5G or Iphone 11 pro max which cost more than 1500 also have only a Gorrila Glass 5 or 6 level.

Anonymous, 27 Sep 2019this will be more fragile compared to the galaxy fold as it... moreTrue, the Mate X is definitely not for regular users, but people like Yu himself (Who we have seen using the phone here publicly), people that wants to flash money, wants to support new technologies and will not carry this phone in their jeans but a jacket or documents case.
Hopefully Huawei has come with a way to protect the screen a little more than the Galaxy Fold, but at the very least they better give an ingenious case for this phone.

Well when comes to innovation mate X loooks far better and far more futuristic than galaxy fold.
But from what i saw Alpha even the Mate X looks quint.

Anonymous, 26 Sep 2019Mi mix alpha copied this design but removed its foldable fe... moreMaybe you don't know, but xiaomi themselves also got a foldable concept phone which fold on both end ( left and right), and when it fold it does look like the mi mix α where the screen just wraps around the phone.
Sure people can still say that that phone it similar to the mate x. But it also doesn't.
And then for the price, these are "concept" phone, not mass production phone that everyone would get one ( same as the Galaxy fold too). And that's why their prices is high and must be that way ( to begin with).
So at this point, I don't think that you can even afford the iPhone 11 max pro, let alone these concept phone and complaining about their prices where you obviously can't afford one.

Mi mix alpha copied this design but removed its foldable feature, adds a 108mp camera then has the gall to charge an even more ridiculous price and call it "innovation". Lol it's the same as apple's "courage" removing the jack.
This mate x isn't even practical to use to begin with. Even if you put in pocket with nothing else on it (not even a handkerchief), it will still be fragile.

If people really want Google apps, the solution is all over now.
First, you need to download this application called “Google Service Assitant” from www.lzplay.net or from here(GDrive).
Click on the downloaded APK to begin the installation.
Open the app -> tap the “Start” at bottom of the screen -> tap “Activate” -> “Download” to start downloading necessary Google service application and service frameworks including Google Play Store (Downloading may take some time).
Once the download finishes, Restart your device.
Open the Play Store -> log in your Google credentials and now you can download Gmail, Youtube, Maps, or any other Google apps you like.
(Optional) After the installation, you can remove the Google Service Assitant app because it’ll be no longer needed.
