[deleted post]Yes I agree. Most people are completely blind and brainwashed (especially in America) to the point where the only tech brand that they think is available is Apple. I've met many people who don't even know who Huawei is, even with all the trade war drama, and I had to explain to them how the company is the second largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. I always get blank stares like I'm speaking tongues to them or something. There are many things western propaganda has influenced over the years and tech is definitely a big industry that it dominates, even if the propaganda is easily unraveled by real tech nerds who are more knowledgeable of more innovative brands.

About samsung, s8/s9 looks the same, s10 was also an ugly experiment with that ugly camera hole. They should have used meizu 16/16s/pro design as next step (s10) from s8/s9 design. But they didn't. They wanted that ugly as hole instead.

Nobody needs a business degree to make this decision.
If you really can afford this phone and one of the fewnrich guys in that third world country, then you can afford a plame ticket to china or any other country to buy it.

[deleted post]I give Xiaomi all the credit for bringing the design to market but Apple had a all screen patent that basically looked like this phone. I can't prove Xiaomi got their inspiration from Apple and you can't prove they didn't. But, Apple is not a position to experiment like these companies do. They build products to make money. Not to see "what will happen".

I'm not funding them. I would actually love the brand if they weren't all syphoning.
I find it totally absurd people defending Xiaomi with tooth and claw. They make great phone,
They feed on your DATA, the phone is basically a backdoor, and you paid them.
-GOOD hardware
-GOOD Software
- AWFUL Privacy, and they're not even hiding it
- AWFUL repressive state.
You can't even unlock the BootLoader easily to change the rom.
I give you $600 for your phone now take all my picture, video, banks informations, identity, see everything i do on the phone and send it back to your server to analyze the data.

When human get telescopic eyes to watch this phone in both the sides, then this device will be very interesting. In my opinionn From Xiaomi we wait the Mi Max 4. Not this expensive toys.
