proof that samsung is the boss,one day apple will join the curved screen bandwagon...its the future..look at xiaomi mi mix alpha,if you look at that phone and dont think about samsung for a second .....u must be from

        While It's not surprising that this looks like another Samsung--Meizu has had more than a couple Samsung-lookalikes in the past, the top bezel looks thicker than their current flagship, is the curved screen worth a downgrade?

          Meizu should make larger phone than 6.2 inch phone to compete with others large flagship! Just make it larger and flat screen! Some people like smaller screen and some people like larger screen. Curve screen is useless and causing the price increase. So don't use curve screen!

          Annddd.. why do GsmArena team not review Meizu phone anymore? Yes Meizu market share is small, but they are quite interesting despite the slow OS update considering the price and simple design.

              All curved screens are useless and unnecessary abomination. All that pursuit for "bEzElLeSs" screens is plain stupid and doesn't make phone more useful - and if something doesn't make a smartphone more useful - it is just idiotic.

Ifbyou want symmetrical phone, either use pop-up or flip or dual screen. Having 1 selfie camera each at top and bottom just for thebsake of symmetry and being able to use in any way is stupid (you need to invert the whole display even if the phone is symmetrical, which is nonsense). So any of those options already done by other brands, or just ignore your need for absolute symmetry and just have 1 front camera at top center

                  Samsung edge screen sucks
                  Almost 90 degrees waterfall screen sucks
                  Wrap around screen of mix alpha sucks
                  This meizu 17 hyperbolic screen sucks
                  All non-flat screens suck

                  Bring back flat screen phones!

                  I'm still using mid-range flat screen phone from 2016

                          People think its cool or something but they dont own one.
                          I have S7 Edge and I hate countess unintended presses.
                          The curve is useless, its like buying a ferrari without an engine!

                              Great design!
                              Too bad that Meizu barely supports their phones.

                                - Meizu, put a copy/second Selfie Cam and Speaker on the bottom bezel. Now it's symmetrical.
                                - Then make the screen flat, place a Glass Protector from the factory. Now it's durable.
                                - Use a proper aspect ratio like 21:9 instead of a wasteful one like 19.5:9. Now it's appealing.
                                - You could also make the back symmetrical, and the right-side buttons symmetrical too. Now phone can be used in any orientation.
                                - Also placing USB-C and Headphone Jack in the middle of the left-side, you can use device in your hands without touching the cables. Now you can use it in Landscape Mode with Controllers and Docks.

                                Well that's just the design point of things, you still need to produce these in larger quantities, support more radio frquecies for international markets, and lastly make this developer-friendly by providing source and making the bootloader unlockable. It wouldn't kill you to make it Ingress Protected either. Do these things and you could realistically surpass OnePlus.

                                  Sigh, another curved screen phone.

                                  When will companies stop with this stupid trend of curved screens, just like the notch trend?

                                  Curved screens are terrible for ergonomics. Not to mention phones with curved screens are hard to protect with cases, and tempered glass screen protectors are either ill-fitting or fiddly to install.

                                      I hope the curves are more immersive like in the Mate 30 Pro where you can actually interact with them differently and they actually feel pleasant to not and not so much just for looks so that manufacturers can charge more for that premium look

                                        I hate curved screens. They are not useful. It's just a gimmick. I am happy with my Mate 20 X. Until something similar comes out. Peace.
