Anytime one chinese brand adopt something stupid, other chinese brands do it too.

Curved screens only work if they are 90 degrees or close like the Horizon display on the Mate 30, that way it will distort a low amount of light and work for virtual keys.

Pls for GsmArena team to review Meizu flagship phone! Yes Meizu is not sold well worldwide but at least give them support to make Android competition better and better. Meizu is one of the company that has simetrical top and bottom size design and avoiding notch, hole, and popup.
