Google obviously didn't spend any money on the design team. This looks like something a school toddler would have designed. They probably saved $100 per handset, on the design budget. Atleast

So sad Google design is really horrible.
As endless Nexus and Pixel user time to change my brand. Cannot stand this ugly phones anymore. Looks like Mate 30 Pro is the only way for me this year.

I'd never found the difference in real life (played with OP 7 Pro having Huawei Mate 20 RS at the same time - no visible difference in performance at all!). Certainly not a dealbreaker for me. But Pixel 4 XL design is disgusting indeed :(. Last year Pixel 3 XL looks more attractive to me now.

I'm about as shocked as the black face on the camera cluster... It's funny how everyone was showing iPhone 11 with this design and then it turns out Pixel 4 will have this butt ugly black camera cluster. Apple's controversial one actually looks alright with the carved glass hump in glass without any edges.
