He must have some rare syndrome that already confuses low with high. Curiously, such low prices keep his wallet as high as possible, so some incongruity must be there. Oh that's it !!! What they keep low are the hardware functionalities and features, which are now only generic phones if you remove the Face ID. But with the higher prices that they can ask for that generic hardware.

Apple didn't become the first trillion dollar company by keeping it's 'prices as low as possible'.
If anything, they always keep their profit margins as high as possible.

Since 1st iphone it is one of the most expensive phones in the market. And it is still one of the most expensive after all these years. What he is talking about???
Of course they could lower price this year because not many new components were used this year, also sales are going down.
