What did you expected people? Google is bad on phones. Ever since the Nexus era. Disappointing average phones. Pixels are just an average phone with a great camera.

Really one sorry looking flagship from Google..... 865 about to go on the market now 855 plus available but this had 855....noon display fingerprint scanner...but you can expect prices to match iPhone Pro Max...

Alice Deejay, 03 Oct 2019This will be the best compact phone out there, again.I'm loving my pixel 3. Really great. Compact, large screen and the battery goes on forever. Anytime I have called Google to help set up some things, they have been super helpful so I give credit where it's due.
The 4 front is even better and increased screen again so yeah, brilliant for a compact. I do wonder though if a change to 4 is worth it, given same main camera module. I'll keep an open mind and wait for actual launch.

Can the pixel match the ROG Phone 2 from a power user standpoint? No.
One Plus offering the best out of the box OS. Stock Android like Pixel but with added goodies.

Having a portrait camera is great. Digital zoom gives you 0% more details, even Google's super res zoom has nearly no advantage in good light conditions.
Ultra wide angle cameras are useless. A lot of distortion, poor image quality and you can capture the details of an ultra wide angle camera just by taking multiple photos. Then you will get even more details. But you can't capture the details of a tele camera by taking multiple photos. A tele camera lets you see things that your eyes can't see.

Whenever compared to any other phone they steadfastly come way behind following up the rear. Check up on right to repair. Apple pretty much fight their customers when it comes to out of warranty repair and grossly overcharge.
