Still qualcomm is a lot better than throttling cpu for apple.

Looks interesting but as long as the throttling of Apple phones and battery degrading is called a feature Snapdragon will be always a lot better CPU.

Anonymous, 08 Oct 2019where the hell is 5nm???Process shrinks are getting more and more complex and expensive as physical limits draw closer. The low hanging fruit is gone, so slower progress is reasonable.

What happened to 5nm? I read they were to go from 7nm+ to 5, not to 6. Maybe foundries are finding out that 5nm is too difficult and costly?

Ryzen 3000 series are already doing that and they're equal or a bit better than Intel for a fraction of the price. Please, help the underdog out. Intel and GloFo deserved it badly for now.

I an waiting for these to start competing with present top end i7 and i9 processors, especially for video editing. I guess an important part of it all will also be way faster memory.

I hope we have professional video editing tablets with upto 32Gb RAM and atleast double the processing power of the A12x Bionic processor. Also the graphics card would need a serious overhaul.
