      IDEA:
      I was just thinking guys, if 120Hz and 60Hz can have battery life difference as big as 132 hours vs 114 hours (Source: Asus ROG II Review).....

      .... then why shouldn't we have a 30Hz battery saving mode for low to high end phones, in which we operate display at 30Hz for meetings, long journeys, etc.?
      Wouldn't this give at least 10-20% extra battery life for emergency, if proper enhancements are made to reduce the GPU clock too?

          Copy-cat design for many models, Mi 8 series being exactly like iPhone series.
          The look of Miui itself is "inspired" from iOS itself.
          Pop cameras taken from Vivo (OnePlus)
          etc
          etc

                Anonymous, 11 Oct 2019Sharp and Sony use 120 since 2016. not true for sony. modders have tried tweaking the display refresh rate of recent sony phones and all stops working at 75Hz. this means that sony has been using 60Hz panels because 60Hz screens do max out at 75Hz.

                          Nice. I still want Xiaomi to improve the audio quality in the video recording. Just that and I'll get their next flagship.

                            IGZO is the only way to have wicked high refresh rates on displays without worry for the battery

                            Too bad sharp displays are underrated

                            We will get the less energy efficient ones from Samsung etc that will even refresh static images....

From Xiaomi, Redmi, Pocophone or whatever, even from other brands that do it too. They also have a lot of original products and not only phones. Customers wins anyways.

                                      Black Shark 3 I presume with the Snapdragon 865 and more advanced telephoto lens since those gaming phones have telephoto?

                                      That would be my guess which means...no US bands so pointless for a number of us here. Oh well.
