Is it really safe to increase charging power like 50W or more? Laptops are different story. But, such a small and tightly packed smartphones with a laptop level power charger, is this good? It's like adding battery capacity and RAM without proper optimization.

Holy mother of heavens look at the SIZE of that THING! I didn't realize how HUGE it was until I saw the photo with the chink in the article. I know asians are smaller but hot DAMN that's not a phone, that's virtually a TABLET. Good Lawd what a massive brick!

A charger has several stages, each with its function, some of them regulate how and how much the battery is recharged at any time depending on several parameters. Such as temperature, charge level, energy demand from the phone, etc. In addition, the physical construction of the battery, its number of cells, the internal circuit of the battery itself, its liquid, chemical or solid components that store energy, etc, must be taken into account.

Batteries do trickle charger for last 20 percentage to lengthen battery life of their devices, and charging is not linear. Considering that, 30 or close watt is great. Though I won't be surprised if Samsung can pull it off In similar time

Hahahah, 50 Watt × 0,5 hour means 25 Wh.
But Realme X2 Pro has 3,9 Ah battery with 3,6 Volts (14 Wh). So the average charging power is less than 28 Watts :P (~5,6 Amper with 5 Volts).
Where is the 50 Watt, Realme? ;)
