    Side fingerprints should always be in the middle for the most convenient use.

            AnonD-887044, 15 Oct 2019Not everyone will like the fingerprint reader to be at the ... moreWhen you hold a phone in portrait mode, your thumb and your middle finger are always on the sides, no matter if you're holding in your left hand or your right hand. I have used a few Sony & Sharp phones like this and never had trouble with the fingerprint positioning. Just set up these two fingers for authentication & you'll be set.

              dbjungle, 15 Oct 2019The side fingerprint is both better and faster.I have the side mounted fingerprint scanner on my S10e and I can confirm that. It can also have additional feature of pulling down your notification bar and/or settings. Super fast and super reliable.
