Anonymous, 15 Oct 2019Buying flagship does not mean the user with fill the phone ... moreThese days mobiles are coming with 48 MP even 64 MP Cameras and each picture taken by them takes minimum 10-15 mb of space and for videos you need way more storage compared to pictures. and if you talk about games like pubg they also need huge storage. so majority of users here needs more storage when they are paying huge sum of amount. i agree that there are people who just need mobile for basic features/usage but then they don't have to spend this much of amount for that.

I think that GSMArena's focus on the the drop selfie camera as just too much like in Note 10 plus. Move on it hurts NOT even a bit. Why dont you concentrate on the 45W that doesnt want to work!?

... moreTrue to life color, yes! but again most smartphone photos are meant for social media and non critical work, which is perfect. No photographer will use smartphone for critical or paid assignments anyway.
For me, personally its smartphone and/or dSLR, modern smartphone pretty much make compact camera meaningless for most until manufacturers start implementing some sort of AI.

It seems to me the best deal is getting the Pixel 3 at half price. Being one-year behind has its benefits at saving you hundreds of dollars. I got my 3 at half price six months ago thanks to a Google Fi birthday promo. All these people trashing the Pixel 3 & 3 XL won't for long after they start owning it.
The thing I hate Google is doing is with their inconsistency. No unlimited storage in original size for Google Photos. No Daydream support. No more USB-C headphone included like the 3 had. No more dual front speakers that the 2 & 3 had. No more fingerprint scanner. And they added Telephoto but removed the wide-angle at the front!
It seems to me the 3 is the better buy just like the Note9 is over the Note10. I'm extremely happy with Pixel 3 other than the battery life could be better. I'd rather have a wide-angle over a 2x Telephoto any day. The only compelling feature the 4 has to me is the 90 hz display. The motion gestures just seems gimmicky that I already saw six years ago.
Save your money and get the Pixel 3 if it's only $50 more than a 3a. For features Google added on the 4, they also removed some that the 2 & 3 had. The Pixel 3 is still the best Pixel ever made followed by the original Pixel. Too bad so many people who never owned it trashed it and it became a sales flop. With the price cuts, the 3 should sell better and more people will see what I realized six months ago. Best Pixel ever.

Two of the most disappointing phones of 2019...
"The Pixel 4 has a small 2800mAh battery" *Facepalm* I even find 3700mAh too small for the Pixel 4XL, and both phones don't even hv a fingerprint reader or headphone jack or microSD slot(I need all these)
Not worth spending $1000+(in my country) for this piece of s***...

AnonD-706668, 16 Oct 2019With software tricks you can improve image quality only abo... moreLOL, u really lack understanding. When did I say hardware is not important. Software is built on top of hardware, and with the correct AI, software will push way beyond what a hardware can achieve by itself.
The key here is if large sensor camera can have such kind of AI processing, they will beat small sensor anytime, but till date there is none of such cameras.
And talking about shooting at same ISO, of course large sensor have the advantage, but in a smartphone, very often the camera do not go to such high ISO due to the superior processing. For my test shot, my LAP only shot at iso1700, whereas my D600 have to hit ISO6400 just to achieve reasonable shutter speed for hand holding.
