                    Also they are much cheaper than the Pixel.

                      These phones look amazing but price (and lack of 3.5mm jack) is a deal-breaker for me. Hopefully 4a keeps 3.5mm jack. And a reasonable price.

                        This phone has hydrocephalus. Can't decide which is even better looking, this or the Pixel 3 XL, both are so ugly.

                            I think these phones look fine. The most beautiful phones currently come from Samsung but I don't like curved displays or their One UI skin over it. I say Huawei and Oppo are right up there as well. Apple makes uglier devices these days.

                            The next two Pixels will likely look the same. It's a good-better-best design cycle. Apple does the same thing.

                            People need to realize it's hard to do a phone design that stands out. You can only do so much with a rectangle. And don't most people cover it up with a case anyway? Even someone like me who used to rock all my phones naked is starting to go back to using TPU cases. So expect Pixel 5 and 6 to look similar to the 4. Just a little better each time.

                            I'm not worried about the Pixel 4 design. I'm more worried about that battery life.

Who... moreI had Android since day one, and until this year always used Samsung, Sony, Xiaomi, etc... While some of my phones were better when it came to bugs and bloatware, I've never been really happy about these issues. Especially Chinese brands are ridiculously packed with unwanted, unremovable, sometimes even unstoppable-in-the-background apps. Now I have the Pixel 3a XL. I bought it the next day when it was available for about 450 euros. It was about as much as I was willing to pay for a phone. And I've never been happier. I haven't experienced one bug so far, and !!!finally!!! I got updates when Google has them. I do not miss the "extra" features" what some other brands bakes into Android. I wish all phones would come with stock Android, and then every user could just download apps to extend the usability of their devices if they wish.

                                    In Singapore the Pixel 4 is $1120 while the 4 XL is $1320, way too expensive

                                    Tbh I'd rather get iPhone 11(even though I'm not an Apple fan)with A13 Bionic or 3 Realme X2 Pros(it's not yet available in SG though) with Snapdragon 855+, both offer better performance than the Pixel 4 series

                                      The pixel 3 wide camera just crushes the s10+! None of the reviews mention this!
                                      I just tested this in the office and the next one!

                                      Another test with the pixel 3 and p30pro... using the back camera to a bowl of grapes(sunlight from the window):
                                      -with the pixel you can see the seeds
                                      -with the p30pro the beans are like some Christmas lighting bulbs with 0 details

                                      So... for haters... stay with your 200MP cameras, with your 4 cameras and 12GB of RAM

                                        Pixel phones have great cameras, that's pretty much it. Whoop de doo, stock Android and regular software updates. That just means you're a glorified beta-tester.
