Adults take a large part in decision making process, but how many of them actually know what quality earphones are like? Are consumers merely just blindly following whatever "brand" washing? Time to do some research on that. Try to find out exactly why Beats earphones got so popular (which I have never heard of until HTC announced it) and also why HTC is willing to provide free Beats headphones (based on your post) despite the ridiculous pricing all over the market. Is it really free? Why then is there a "deluxe edition" where consumers need to pay some extra bucks?

beats by dre, is ok, better than nothing and a lot cooler than heaps of brands. Thats what makes it.
Iheard the $500 headphones from Dre.. avg at best - Bose FTW!!

As an HTC User, I got used to the Audio Quality from these beats headphones, but when I tried other quality headphones from the Audio-Technica M50 and the Audeze LCD3...Wow! They are nothing spectacular on their price range...I got rid of my Beats immediately. Now I understand what these headphones' target market like. They do a lot of "hi-fi quality" advertising, a "the way music should be heard" crap, but frankly they are nothing spectacular.
So I dig deep into some brands and come up with a very nice sounding headphone like V-Moda M80. A combination of my HTC Sensation XE and M80 is quite surprising.
Please people, don't dig into these advertising crap where Beats are famous of. There are a lot of headphones out there that are better sounding, better looking and portable than these.

I believe that HTC isn't a stupid company which doesn't understand "Sound Quality". Teaming up with Beats sure gives them huge Profit, that's the reason why it has to be BEATS BY Dr.Dre. I find Beats' sound quality is awful and overpriced. What a shame... HTC...

Beats have just as good quality as other headphones, and they are better looking. I bet 8 out of 9 people who say here, that Beats suck they did not even try them out.. Don't complain if you don't have a good reason, I say;" Go beats, and go HTC! Good mix.''
PS: I see alot of people say that prof. DJ's don't use them for mixing? Alot do.

Alot of people giving beats a bad name. Well, it's true. Those headphones are not garbage, they are OK, but for the price they retail at might as well be shiny garbage. For high end audio go for Sennheiser, ultrasone, grado, audio technica, denon, or even audeze.

sd, 13 Mar 2012I wonder y u need the sd for? When u already have plenty in... moreMainly for Video storage. I know how fast I can fill up 32GB of space with Video. I shoot at the highest MP the device can handle usually and it eats up a ton of space.
I do like the Cloud Storage idea but once that's filled up, then you're back to deleting video to make room again. Also Cloud data has the very slight chance of getting hacked and/or corrupted.
SD card is with you, can't be hacked but can be corrupted so overall, having the option of an SD card would be nice. And you can have multiple SD Cards for on the spot shooting.

I can just say that you need to listen to something better and then you can realise what millions of people including me say .

lol even dr dre uses audio technica M50s and other headphones for serious mixing :p
