Just maybe in USA, I live in Mexico, that neighbors the south of USA, and I have NEVER seen pixels anywhere, just for sale in internet, I've never seen somebody with one in hand, I know this because I was somewhat interested on getting one some time ago,

Duh, of course they will, regardless of how good/bad the phone is. They are available on all major carriers instead of just google and Verizon. In fact, if the numbers don't double then to me it would be a fail. The average person will never buy something not in their carrier store or pay for it outside of the plan.

I wonder how they'll hit that mark given:
1. the absurd pricing
2. low resale value
3. competition offering a better product in every parameter except maybe the famed great pixel camera at a lot lower price.

800 usd for for an older chipset and 64 gb memory!! .As an android fan , I think iPhone 11 is better priced at 700 usd.

Though slightly under speced compared to other Android OEM flagships, this may do well in the USA since the previous edition was a disaster. I feel Pixel Duos could do well if they priced it competitively....There is no point going after this when you get OnePlus 7T Pro 256 GB with far better options yet significantly lower in pricing. Google got it all wrong thinking that they can price it like Apple for their mobiles by changing the name from Nexus to Pixel...
