Been waiting for this for a while now (INDIA), nothing on KIES yet. Keeping my phone completely charged so I don't have to wait it out once it is available. Reading mixed reviews, though I am completely looking forward to the upgrade.

I've been running the 4.0.3 on my SGS2 in Ghana for the past 3 hours. I was excited to see the update available in Ghana and to have it on my phone but now I've regreted ever updating. The 2.3.5 I had was much faster and smoother.I've not compared the battery consumption of the two though. I personally don't think this particular update is worth it. It's indeed a downgrade as someone has already said. I wish I could go back to GINGERBREAD. Another update is required immediately! Summy, you can do better.

Can anyone tell if the update is good or bad becouse there are a lot of mixd coment some say that is better some say its lagy pls help. i have 2.3.6 its not that good 2.3.3 was better i need to know of this update is any good .

Muho, 13 Mar 2012No update available in Turkey too :(i'm in Cyprus...just updated but scrolling is not as smooth as before a few widgets don't work.. Gingerbread 2.3.5 was very smooth...does anyone know if i can revert back to Gingerbread and how to do it?

I'm from romania and didn't get the ICS yet, and I've got the 2.3.4 on my s2 but kies shows an (COA) at the end of "firmwire version" information, what does that mean?.

You can find instructions as to how you can get ICS 4.0.3 on your Galaxy S II (I-9100) even if you don't have it on Kies in your region.
