Nokia is on the way making the phones smaller. The E61i is in my opinion to big. The E71 will have the dimensions of an actual Blackberry (it looks like one) and could be more successfull.

i am a nokia e61i user, and i quite love the phone for its features and user abilities, though there were short comings like the lack of GPS and also the slow processor and the small ram(45 mb is to small).
the e71 seems to have covered that but it lacks the wide big screen(2.8") which was its flagship and it being shorter. now the e71 looks like an other phone with the same specs.

Nokia Dora looks very interesting. Elegant but still very functional smartphone in slider form-factor. I would like to find out about its size ( especially thickness)and battery.

You know, I quite wonder how mobile manufacturers will react on this. Vodafone not only releases its planned portfolio, but "strictly company confidential" information as well. For example Nokia was always keen not to release the internal names of the devices to the public. For what reason, I do not know, still it is against their internal policy. And I guess the other companies may not be happy either.

Wow, Nokia really has brought pretty phones not only in features but they have also kept traditional thick model apart. These two E-Series will hopefully be market leading devices in 2008. I think screen pixels has a misprint it may be 320x480 or 240x320. But again they didn't implement touch screen that's weird because all competitors have already touch screen at least in business models.
Nice design.....
Keep it up Nokia...
Other phones are also good, Blackberry is improving fast.....

New OS for Nokia E series? Hope it's just theme though.
Regarding the Liam, I guess it's more like a 280x320 rather than square 320x320 cause the screen doesn't look like really square.
Not quite trustable specs for both nokia phones.
