Apple battery works, and its shutdown only due to incorrect battery readings. And it affects a small subset of phones. And nothing to do with design, just defective batch.
If this were any other android phones, the issue would have being ignored, due to endless compromised by fanboys and they would have changed their phones Long before the issues are found.

Very typical from Apple. The throttling the SoC is because they care of you by remembering you about pay the fee of the battery or buy the new iPhone. Or the not existence of their bad design if you have signal problems is because you are holding your phone badly... etc.

Apple maps correctly shows the hit for Cibinong, no problem so no solution is needed.

Impressive that apple care for so old devices, seeing android makers dont even care about 2016 devices.
Got a 2010 galaxy S, the gps has never worked correctly on those, despite samsung updates that fixed it in 2011 but no change, they were still defective. And then apple come now and fix 2010 phones, unprecedented customer care is an understatement.

I still use iPhone 6. Well, I will keep watching if there is new update of iOS or not. But I will give point for Maps. Apple Maps compared Google Maps, Google Maps is still superior many times compared Apple Maps.
Look Apple Maps, I search “Kelurahan Cibinong” name not available. The Apple Maps is popular only for USA not global.

Apple take care of their phones, because you can continue to pay and use their services. Of course they try their best to upgrade as many iPhones as possible.
Android makers only earns from the hardware they sell, so whats the incentive for updates..? Not much, they need you to consistently buy every 2 years cycle.
