Huawei should highlight this fact prominently. My dad wanted to buy this phone but thankfully I told him about the lack of google apps and he dropped the idea. He has been a long time Huawei supporter so hopefully the US China tiff can be resolved and maybe in future my dad can pick up this phone. But right now no way

you actually cannot effectively use an android device in the philippines without google play services, unless you use only chinese knockoffs of popular apps. most apps filipinos use require google play services. i guess this is meant to be taken up only by really hardcore huawei fans who can carry a flagship smartphone relegated to the functions of a feature phone. those who say otherwise are really just blinded by proliferation of fake news and propaganda in the philippines favoring china.

Anonymous, 22 Oct 2019if talking about camera , I would rather buy DSLR worth 20-... moreHuawei have very good repetition in Philippine like oppo and Samsung, here what I think you buy apple because it’s expensive and sign of being in the upper class but you buy expensive huawei or Samsung because you are tech nerd

no google services is ok? wait until you happen to use an app that requires google service... google service is not just the apps by google, guys, i.e. youtube, gmail, etc, but some third party apps need it to function properly... so gudluck

BrendonF, 22 Oct 2019It's fine if you are talking about a cheap $100-$200 phone.... moreThis is a premium flagship-tier smartphone after all, and it has never been cheap in the first place.

Anonymous, 22 Oct 2019Already forgotten all about the Mate 30 series.. the excell... moreHuawei is big brand while Realme is small (sub brand from BBK). It's like u compare Toyota compare to Datsun (now Nissan sub brand). Don't compare big brand to small brand! They have different brand image, resale value, service support, etc.
Remember there always be poor, medium, and rich people. Every people segment will always buy different class brand. Don't forget that BBK is cheating because they flooding the market with toooo many brand like Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, Realme, Iqoo while Huawei and Xiaomi only have 2 brand (1 main brand and 1 sub brand). Only Samsung has one brand to sell but reaching top global market share. Imagine if Samsung also cheating like BBK.

Camera ISO-performance, Leica-inspired design, Ultra slow-motion, are strong ingredients to me ... remembering that the best camera, is the one you've got with you ; ).
Missing Google Apps is for me a huge point.
So I am considering to go for the Samsung Note 10 plus .-.

They really are trying to grab some attention in the Philippines with their freebies, but for that amount? believe me, people there would prefer buying iPhone that this one if its the same amount.

Anonymous, 22 Oct 2019I was invited for a huawei gathering that talks about this ... moresame, but the setback is it doesn't have a google services. I may regret having this phone without google. It's like buying this phone is like buying a camera and giving up other feature that you used to. It might be a good deal if its $150-$200 but for almost 50k? I rather buy DSLR worth 30k pesos and get a real me phone .

Dealler, 22 Oct 2019No one cares. It´s dead without google.Google is for ignorant people (well... losers) who always think they got nothing to hide*. I may have Android, but it's now completely de-Googled. No single Google apps to talk about.

Anonymous, 22 Oct 2019Already forgotten all about the Mate 30 series.. the excell... morenot really a flagship if you compare them, the battery on the realme x2 pro is lame compared to the m30 pro, camera also has no ois, night shots are worse, the one i only like there is the 90hz display and the chipset an no other thing, but as for the m30 pro they could have use 90hz but they ddnt im so dissapointed but looking at 90hz display will consume battery really i own rog 2 phone it has 6k battery and i only use 90 hz compared to 60, yes its smooth but for the battery its not, 60 hz for me is good, not unless they put like 8-9k battery for 90 hz or even 120hz then im sold..
