Moto's pop-up selfie camera phone to be called One Hyper

22 October 2019
The phone appears to be a follow-up to the One Vision as it lacks zoom or action cameras like the ones found on its other One siblings.

the whole "one" series is embarrassing. Why make 5+ different phones instead of one solid flagship? Might be 500$ but who cares really? Xiaomi has 400$ phones that offer nearly everything the whole lineup does, even more comparing the SOC used. I use the zoom and can tell it is not worth the penny. Its a 300$ phone at best. Camera is "okay" but not as good as the pixel 3(a) one. Of course the 3x zoom - I barely use and quality is much worse than the usual lense. The honor series might seem pricey nowadys but look what the 20 pro offers! Zoom, Ultrawide, Macro, 855, 8/256, punchhole - 600$ (you can get it for 450$ nowadays). You cant tell me that -4GB Ram, -128GB Rom, -Macro, -SOC, -Punchhole + OLED makes a phone just 200$ less expensive. Nah, Motorola, I fell for your Promo but been left with a piece of "okay" tech to warn others not to buy into it. Don't forget the horrible software updates!

Nokia 8.2 would be far better. Just wait for it.

I had a Moto X Play for a long time and this is inferior in terms of battery. The Play had 3600mAh for a smaller screen. I can't downgrade, sorry, I need at least as good as, or even better.

OPPO Find X still looks the best with a pop-up camera. I still want one of those and might get one if it's cheaper. I'm just hesitant because I don't want ColorOS and it's too big. I won't be able to find a nice case for it either and would have to deal with the glass back. I'm really content with my Pixel 3 / Essential Phone combo.
