Kangal, 24 Oct 2019Urgh, it's ugly on the inside too. There's too many pieces... moreI'm sure no matter how ugly this phone is, your ugly ape face is 100s times worse.

I'm surprised they found the battery at all, must be tiny.

Actually easier than the Pixel 1 I have, which requires removal of the OLED screen, which breaks very easily (it looks like a thin film actually). So the Pixel 4 at least can be opened by the back, which is important as you're going to be paying Google every year to replace the worn battery (any wear and it won't last even a day with light usage).

Urgh, it's ugly on the inside too.
There's too many pieces that are larger and placed wrongly. The entire design is not efficient at all, at least compared to the latest flagships. I mean, just look back on the old Google Pixel 2XL teardown... that was much easier to remove the screen and battery, the two most important things to replace. Even the logic board and cameras were easy to remove and replace.

Based on the trends I'm seeing, the Google Pixel 5 is going to be a piece of carp. They get worse/less competitive with each iteration. That's bad for the market and consumers in general.
