Google plans to acquire Fitbit

I will never again buy Fitbit devices. My over 300usd Fitbit Ionic was just passed the warranty period for two weeks when it got bricked. I was just trying a factory reset because it was giving me problems on syncing. Customer service tools me that they don't have any solution and the company does not assume any responsibility.
If Google is not going for Fitbit users data, then I cannot imagine what it is. Devices are overpriced when compared with other brands, design is not the best and durability and customer service (something for what I've wrongly chosen that brand) is the worst I have experienced with any mayor brand.

I love my Fitbit Versa, it's a shame that this company couldn't fight in the wearables war, I hope that Google can improve this brand and keep the support for devices as the mine

"Clean up your house, before criticising your neighbour".
Maybe, Google should fix and improve AndroidWear / WearOS first, before they begin absorbing other competitors and potentially ruining the ecosystem. But we know that's wishful thinking, at least by Google's history, so it's likely they will acquire Fitbit and eventually run that company to the ground. Think of their performance with AndroidTV and AndroidTablets... great initial launch, hardly a runaway success few years later!!

That make me happy. If Fitbit gets bought out just like they did to Pebble. And hopefully Google will make them better. Can’t make them any worse.

The 4XL have 3700 mAh which is definitely not enough.
Even the redmi 8A have 5000 mAh and cost just 100 and we speak about 6,2 inch device,
Dont try to defend them if there is nothing to protect.
Guy wo is responsible for this should end like a dummy for Shaolin monks training.

Latest Pixel series have 2700 mAh battery in other words phones in 2012 year had simmilar battery capacity.
So the google watch would and shouls have like 170 mAh battery maybe 220 not more.
Which is klaughabkle and for usual super overpriced google price.
If you want my proffesional advice they should first make the top end smartphones worth every penny and then jump into other devices.
Selling average midrangers with a price of the most expensive flagships is just big NO.
