@brynn Same here. I was Symbian user for 7 years, and I am currently having Maemo (n900). It is great device, however it is sinking ship (sadly)... Now I have been playing with MeeGo (sinking) and Android (uprising) and I am thinking to buy SGS2. But if SGS3 is really that better (HD screen, 4-core CPU, 2GB RAM and some minor things for me like LED indicator, bigger battery...) I will wait for it (otherwise I will buy SGS2 for lower price).
What I would like to see in SGS3 are soft buttons (no hardware home/back/menu buttons) like ones in Nexus Prime and perhaps xenon flash (LED flash is only useful to use as lamp in dark, but it is not worth for camera).

Apple has always been known to be too slow with their hardware upgrade. Furthermore, Apple's ecosystem is very restrictive. They dictate what users can only do with their devices. A jail broken iPhone is equal to just any ordinary Android or even less. I predict, as soon as Galaxy S3 comes out with a scratch proof ceramic chassis (similar to the material used on beautiful Rado watches), coupled with a super fast quad core processor, a beautiful HD screen, and high end specs, it will surely become a hit and Ifanatics will be surely jealous.

People who r not agreed with quad core then go on n play hd videos on nokia 6600 its simple as that... And try converting a video file on single core 2.0 ghz processor and quad core processor u guys will get ur answer or simply play multi video files at ones...intel,nvidia n AMD r not that dumb to advertise only that they made quad core....

The photo is definitely fake(in terms that it is a Galaxy S3 ,the phone does exist). If you google 'Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.2' which was unveiled at MWC in Barcelona, you will see it is practically the same phone . The screen may seem bigger on the Galaxy S3, but that is simply due to the angle the phone is shown. Furthermore, the sensors on the top of the phone in this pic, placed on the wrong side. If you search for any Samsung phone, you will notice that the light sensors are on the left side of the phone (as you look at it), above the 'S' letter, of 'Samsung'.

I am saving for sgs3 and will have a stab at Samsung Galaxy Beam..I think i am a Samsung FANBOI with a soft spot for Nokia/Symbian which served me well for8 years of my life.One thing iam not and never will be is a crapple fan,,been their done that and hate it..

Can somebody clarify the specs to me, it this thing dual or quad core? Some places (including this website) so either or both. I currently have the Samsung Galaxy S2 but my next phone will have at least a 4.3 inch screen, Quad core and 4G. I know Quad core is not really two important at present and 4G is not even alive in the UK where I live - much more Europe but these features mark an improvement over the S2. I always seek to improve my specs. I will look to get a new phone from June onwards. The iphone 5 is not at in the frame. Only Android devices. Thanks, David.

idroid, 20 Mar 2012I don't know why you think android is the best...it is full... moreu man, u dnt have good knowledge on ANDROID, IOS is worst as compared with ANDROID, apple doesn't provide many features as android provide, apple locks everything...As IOS is an old operating system, there are many games and apps... but with in few months android is gonna cross android.... the highest paid salary in IT industry is for ANDROID....and now many of the popular app developers are now shifting to android.... as JAVA development apps are more easy compared to C language...
