China Telecom confirms November launch for Samsung W20 5G foldable clamshell

While I am a tota... morenah they been planed this, if u are trying folding tech why wouldnt they do this with their flip phones they provide, if anything Motorola making a comeback just because this while not even having razrs for sale like samsung still has been releasing their clamshell flip phones

    Hang on, is that would be the new W20 5G? While I am a total sucker for Android-running flip phone (thank you Samsung Galaxy Folder2), I'm definitely not sure about this. It feels like as if Samsung really is trying to fight Motorola.

        Yousef1, 01 Nov 2019Motorola's foldable phone will come with midrange specs whi... moreI'm skeptical whether or not this W20 is really a phone with a foldable screen, up till W2019 the whole series has had a traditional, arguably primitive numeric keyboard and has sold enough to keep the series going, how much of a risk of losing its old customers would it be if this series were to suddenly go full touchscreen? Imagine the typing experience for those people.

          Looks more promising than the original fold, but time will tell.
          I'd personally never buy a folding smartphone, but I do want them to become a trend - so prices of regular devices can finally drop :)

            So, this clamshell foldable will only sell in China like all other Samsung flip phones series.

              I think there is no need of this type folding phone while the people like the big screen. and there other thing is it become a fat phone with big screen fat phone is acceptable but in this condition I think it will not be acceptable among the people.

                Moto Razar even being SD710 @ $1500 seems more interesting. Anyways. Lets c whats in the stores this mid month.

                    Would be better if Samsung expands non foldable W-series clamshells to other markets as well.

                      Personally I'm much more interested in the RAZR. It is an icon.
