"Sold out" or "Out of Stock" is the same case whether the number of units sold is either two or three,a dozen, a hundred or a few thousand in total.
Instead of pulling the marketing stunt, why not provide actual number of devices sold, or atleast a near estimate of how much sold? Then let's talk about celebrations and stories of "sold out in seconds".
