    The design would also be visually appealing as living creatures usually have 2 sets of eyes not 5 like a cyborg or something of that sort lol..

      Just give us 2/3 good cameras like Apple does. 1 Primary camera with OIS. 1 Ultrawide Camera and maybe a 5xTelephoto Camera with OIS. That's all we need. These 5/4 camera things are marketing gimmics.

With native sensor, nothing is change except the megapixel-cum-photo resolution. For pixel binned sensor, even the micron pixel also changed to higher count.

And the pixel pitch is still 1.12 Micron even without binning, yet its 41/38 MP in Lumia1020

                  I am puzzeld about the term "zoom". If I get it right there are three cameras with different focal lengths, like 38 mm (main shooter), 76 mm (2x) and 190 mm (5x, full frame equivalent).
                  Anything in between is calculated. What does that have to do with optical zoom? Or did I miss something?

                    No matter haw bad this one is, its the only one for now, will sell in millions.

I think we're entering a new era where manufacturers will try to make the sensors as big as possible for no other reason than advertising, because people no longer care about megapixels (probably since all those chinese 48/64/etc. megapixel phones still take significantly worse pictures than Google Pixel's old 12MP sensor)...

                          [deleted post]True that, but remember that the camera with big megapixel nowadays is using the implementation of Quad Bayer pixel binning. When you scaled down the megapixel by four times, you will get double the pixel. So what would be a 108MP 0.8 micron pixel ended up being a 27MP 1.6 micron pixel.

                          It's the same story with Huawei's 40MP, Sony/Samsung's 48MP, and Samsung's 64MP camera. For the case of the Huawei, it will go from 40MP 1.0 micron pixel to 10MP 2.0 micron pixel.

                                  The primary wide 108MP camera do have a bigger sensor size than the Nokia Lumia 1020, but shame it's for Quad Bayer pixel binning. I miss native sensor where the hardware do the job instead of the camera's software algorithm.
