It's funny how fast everyone has lost interest. I think GSM Arena should do an investigation into why Samsung make such ambiguous announcements and then let it be. Could it be publicity?

I guess Three sold the most number of SGS2, the very reason, it was under pressure to push ICS out to its customers the earliest. other networks now needs to play catch up. Samsung is so confused due to various customisations it needs to make. Unbranded SGS2 would be the least sold, hence least preferenced

Dont think im buying Samsung again, or from Carphone Warehouse, because althought CPW sell simfree phones, my SGSII comes with there own unbloated firmware, so in effect all phone from CPW are branded, n we'll have to wait until CPW delivers us there unbloated version of ICS, excatly the same as if we where network locked.
im sure CPW are in breach of contract, because at the time of purchase, as i without doubt specifed i wanted a simfree/unbranded phone, like it says all there phones are on their website.

i bought from carph... moreWell put it this way the sim free update to ICS (at least in the uk) is nowhere to be found, despite Samsung insisting it has been live since Monday 19th March.
At this rate Im sure the 02, vodafone and even orange updates will be available before the sim free phones get it.

O2 will give update on April 1st week.
i bought from carphoneware.. its simfree.. but with 02 contract? i dont know what to do? wait 02 update or simfree??

Just updated the wife's (she's on 3) SGS2 and it works a treat. Just got to wait for mine now on T Mobile
