    Thanks for the great review! I am wondering if you will do more headphone reviews? I am particularly interested in the MPOW H21, which is currently their highest tier headphones. I know it's a lot to ask, they seem to come out with new headphones every couple of weeks. Thanks!

        Hi! Thank you so much for your review! It was fundamental when I was choosing which ANC earphone to buy. One question: I noticed that when the ANC is on I can hear a soft "shiiiiii" in the background. You told that "The H12 offer less of that noise-cancelling hum that sounds like you have a conch shell up to your ear". Well, do you know if this "shiiiiii" is normal or even part of the ANC sistem? It could be a problm? If so, should I ask for a replace?

              Also I was pretty sure the XM3 were the "gold standard". The QC35 II were slightly behind (at least when I tested them in a specialized store).

                  Can you review also the Mpow H5? They cost less but still have Active Noise Cancelling

                      First of all, Yes they have two Microphones and use them for Calls and Active Noise Cancellation.
                      And secondly, I would be comparing these to the $300 Bose QC 35 II's instead, as that's the current gold standard, being slightly better than the Sony XM3's (as much as I hate Bose fanboys). But more so, because both the Bose and the Mpow's have the same button arrangement and microUSB.

                      Anyways, these H12's are extremely cheap ($40) but offer decent performance. However, the battery life is no-one near stated. And they use the old Bluetooth 4.1 protocol, with the older chipset and drivers. So the GSMArena article needs to be amended. As far as I can tell, there is no Siri or Alexa or Google Assistant support. I think these headphones are from 2018 just to caution buyers.

                      For a little bit more money ($60), you can get the 2019 model and they are called "Mpow H21". I think this is headset that Ivan wanted to/should have tested instead. To start off, they have a bigger battery (850mAh), more efficient chip, and use BLE protocol (BT 5.0) connection. So apparently these are much closer to their stated 40 hour battery life. Unfortunately, whilst it HAS the hardware/chip capability it is NOT enabled to do HDAptX audio (lower latency, higher quality). Other complaints say the ANC function draws a decent amount of power, reducing battery life, or when active you get slightly less volume when listening to them. Although I think the tradeoff would be worth it in a plane, train, or a noisy room. However, they also stuck with microUSB instead of USB-C port. Charging speed is slightly increased, but nothing to write home about (3 hours). I think it still lacks Virtual Assistant support, and I don't think it will come in the future. More likely it might get added to a "Mpow H25" model, where they would address the AptX issue and USB-C, which might be better value for money at $100.
